The Dallas Cowboys have fined quarterback Dak Prescott $2,500 for kicking a kickoff that went through the legs of Seahawks linebacker Kam Chancellor on a kickoff return for a touchdown during the second half of Sunday’s 24-23 overtime victory.
The penalty was first reported by NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The league has not commented on the issue.
Prescott, who was the Cowboys’ starter for the remainder of the regular season, has not been fined by any team this season.
He has not thrown a pass this season for the Cowboys.
Prescott did not have a completion rating of over 35 when the Cowboys played the Seahawks.
The Cowboys have scored a touchdown on 11 of their last 13 plays.
