The world’s first fully functioning train set has gone on sale for $3.6 million and has the potential to be one of the most beautiful things to hit the market since the first wooden train arrived in 1849.
The wooden train, which has been in use since 1896, has undergone several upgrades to ensure its long-term health and safety.
The new train, constructed by British-based designer Tom Jones, features an extra platform to accommodate more train cars and two more stools for toilet training dogs.
Jones said the wooden train has been designed to be used by trains with less than 40 seats.
It has an “excellent balance of functionality, comfort and design,” he said in a statement.
“The design is so much better than anything else on the market, it is a joy to train on,” he told Business Insider.
“It is a wonderful addition to the landscape.”
Jones said he has spent hundreds of hours over the past year on the project, which is the culmination of his life’s work.
He said he spent $1.6million on the train, including $1 million on the design, and plans to use it for the next decade or more.
It took Jones about two years to design the wooden locomotive, which he said is similar to the train cars that are already on the road.
Jones says the new train has a “unique” design that makes it ideal for its intended purpose.
The train also has a toilet training dog, which sits in a specially designed stool and can smell out the poop from the toilet seats, Jones said.
“You get to smell the poop that is coming out of the toilet,” Jones said in the statement.
The railway’s original design, which was completed in 1898, included a two-carriage wooden train and a one-carrier wooden train with three seats.
